At the 2012 National Reading Recovery Conference in Columbus, Hameray Publishing hosted a special "Breakfast with Joy Cowley" to celebrate the release of the next 50 titles in the Kaleidoscope Collection. Over 50 attendees were treated to a delicious breakfast buffet, as well as some special time with the incomparable Joy Cowley.

The high point of the breakfast was Joy's presentation of a check in the amount of $10,236.56 to Eloise Hambright-Brown and Cathy Duvall of Reading Recovery Council of North America. Royalties from sales of the first 40 books in Kaleidoscope Collection resulted in a donation of $5,118.28, with Hameray Publishing matching the contribution. In addition, each author in Set B received a large print poster of their book cover, and a picture with Joy Cowley. Check out the pictures below from the "Breakfast with Joy Cowley" reception.
