Based on the theme of a birthday party, the cards are attractive to young children and provide many language opportunities. Differences in shape and size illustrated in a simple and appealing way. These concepts and vocabulary are needed for early number work. The four basic shapes - circle, square, rectangle and triangle - are used along with the concepts big and small, and short and long. The comparatives bigger and longer, and superlatives biggest and longest are also included. Includes: a round clock, a square sandwich, a rectangular pencil case, a triangular paper hat.
