Sharyl Calhoun has been a Reading Recovery teacher for more than 15 years. She has also taught Preschool through third grade. Although she has published many articles as a freelance writer, The Bike is her first children's book. She loves the humor that authors and illustrators bring into these carefully-crafted books.
