The Duck and the North Wind Big Book

The North Wind blows its cold wind and snow so that the world will slow down and rest. But, the hungry Duck cannot afford to stop looking for food and continues despite the North Wind's growing efforts. In the end, the Duck perseveres, and the North Wind comes to admire the Duck's persistence.

About This Series:

Fables & the Real World is a unique series that pairs each of thirty fables with three nonfiction books for a total of 120 titles (30 fiction and 90 nonfiction). This series is an easy and engaging way for emergent readers to begin comparing and contrasting fiction and nonfiction texts.
